The convention is proudly hosted by Modern Homeschools, a sister organization of Raleigh Homeschoolers — a trusted community that has supported thousands of local families since 2017. As the needs of homeschoolers across North Carolina have grown, so has our mission. Modern Homeschools was created to extend that same support statewide, and we’re excited to bring families together for this in-person event at the NC State Fairgrounds.

This convention is for all homeschool families—whether you use a faith-based or secular approach. You'll find a variety of vendors, resources, and support to help your homeschool journey, no matter your preference.

 The convention will take place from Friday, May 2 - Saturday, May 3

The event will be held at the NC State Fairgrounds, Gov. Kerr Scott Building, located at 1025 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh, NC 27607. For your convenience, here's a Google Maps link to help you find directions.

Absolutely. The venue is fully accessible, and we strive to accommodate all attendees. If you have specific needs, please contact us in advance at [email protected].

This is a food-free event. However, there are food options available at other locations within the NC State Fairgrounds, and many restaurants are just a short drive away. We encourage you to plan ahead if you’ll need a meal during the event!

All ticket sales are final. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds. However, you may transfer your ticket to another individual. Please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

While children are welcome to attend with their parents, we do not offer separate childcare services. However, some booths will have programs and activities designed specifically for children and teens.​
